GUIDELINES
001. This blog is HIGHLY SELECTIVE , meaning that I only roleplay with mutuals. I tend to be a little picky in who I interact with, but trust me when I say I look through all the blogs either that follow me, or that I follow to see if there would be a possibility of us working together. If I see it, I’ll follow back. 002. I am a SLOW RPER. I not only am a very busy person with this as my low-level hobby, but I’m also a stay-at-home-mom and a writer. This means I’m not going to reply to things immediately. That being said I’m also someone who moves where the inspiration leads me, so I might reply to something from some people and leave other stuff for later. That’s just how I work. I apologize in advance. Though don’t be afraid to send me things. I will always love it. 003. I WORK OFF MOBILE FOR THE MOST PART due to time constraints. This means it might be harder for me to reply to things. I do try to keep up, but sometimes I just have to wait until I get some computer time under my belt. This also means that for the most part my aesthetic formatting is generally simple because Tumblr Mobile is hard. 004. CONCERNING SHIPS I have a few rules.FIRST, if we ship and the ship turns toxic I WILL BREAK THE SHIP OFF FOR MY OWN MENTAL HEALTH AS WELL AS THAT OF MY CHARACTER. I understand some ships turn toxic, but I have been through it before and dear lords it’s better to end things.SECOND, generally speaking I enjoy writing m/f ships, and you will find very little if at all content of anything else. There are exceptions here and there that may occur if the dynamic is tasty enough, but if that offends you we may not be a good fit. To be clear, I am not homophobic, you can ship what you want, it's just not my preference. 005. Crossovers and AUs are well loved by this blog, and if I don’t have a verse for your universe feel free to hit me up and we can come up with something together. I’m flexible. 006. --
I DON’T DO EXCLUSIVITY unless it’s shipping. I only ship with one version of that character, though I'm open to other types of relationships. 007. If you unfollow me, don't softblock me, please block me because I'm dumb and will likely think I fucked up somehow and follow back. On that score I reserve the right to unfollow for my mental health.
DO'S
COME TALK TO ME I SWEAR I DON'T BITE ( in fact I'm probably not gonna begin a conversation because I don't know where to start so please poke me )

CHARACTER NOTES
Concerning Canon Ship of Elrond and Celebrian I am in love with this ship, but I am open to the idea of beginning some kind of chemistry test just to see if we get along before we RP shippy stuff. Personal preference of mine. I adore Elrond, don’t get me wrong, but not every writer/mun jives with me. Note: as it currently stands, my main Elrond is @tidalhaired, and likely will be the Elrond characterization I reference most along with the only one I ship with.Concerning Thranduil, and Thranduil RPers: I happen to be incredibly fond of Thranduil, but I'm not stupid. I'm well aware that my version of his wife will not necessarily jive with everyone, therefore I will only ship with Thranduils who Díhenor has chemistry with. I'm perfectly happy to AU another type of relationship with other Thranduils.Concerning Gilithren and Gil-Galad, if you are a Gil-Galad, worry not. She is exclusively shipping with @scion-of-kings Gil-Galad. I will not force this ship on anyone. As for Nimloth & Dior, I am open to shipping, but as Tolkien expresses that peredhel outside of the line of Eärendil are mortal, my default is that even in a survival verse Dior would die some time in the second age. Additionally, Nimloth and Dior likely could not form an elven bond given he is essentially mortal. Thus the elven bond would not exist imo between them.

Celebrian Born on the Isle of Balar in 540 of the First Age, Celebrian was a jewel of hope after the War of Wrath. Her young adult life was full of love, an only child with a pair of doting parents, who had seen war through as an elfling and lived with the belief that it was all ended. That was until Sauron returned, and with him came the strife, pain and loss of war to her life for the first time.Celebrian would be better described as shadowlike, the quiet yet opinionated daughter of a powerful woman, she preferred her hobbies and interests to being involved in a major way in the world. Being brought up with legends as her ancestors, she wished for a more tranquil existence. Where Galadriel went, Celebrian was not far behind, peering over her mother’s shoulders in avid curiosity. When war struck, it was near Galadriel that Celebrian could always be found, for it was where she wished to be. In her mind, it was the safest place in all of Middle Earth. From Lorien, to Eregion, to Lindon—Celebrian was the ever steady companion of Galadriel, until the day when they came into the hidden valley of Imladris seeking her father. There, Celebrian met Elrond Peredhel and quickly fell in love with him. She decided to settle down in Imladris, becoming its Loremaster. A thousand years would pass before Elrond spoke his heart aloud, but when he did Celebrian was happy to settle at last as Lady of Imladris.Millenia passed, and Celebrian was happy as wife and mother, the peaceful time of the Third Age feeling as if it would be unending. But shadows lingered in the stretches between Lorien and Imladris, and one day while traveling between Celebrian was captured by orcs. The horrors indured are something she has no desire to recount, too painful and raw within her soul. She was bound to darkness through acts of violence which none stood endure --- but it was enough that even though she was found and returned to Elrond physically intact, she struggled to remain in Middle Earth.
VERSE — Second Age.
Celebrian is her mother's shadow, moving wherever Galadriel and Celeborn move. She is moved between Lindon and Eregion, and settles in Eregion for a time as the apprentice of the loremaster. When her mother leaves Eregion , she follows and from there across the mountains to Lorinand. When her father does not return from war, she and her mother seek him, and find him in Imladris with Elrond, whom she falls in love with. When Elrond goes to war in Mordor, Celebrian is left to take care of Imladris as its unofficial Lady until Elronds return.
VERSE — Third Age.
Married to Elrond, she is the Lady of Imladris until her capture by Sauron in 1981 TA.When Celebrian is returned to Rivendell, the barest shell of herself, it was believed nearly impossible for her to recover in Middle Earth. Her fea so damaged, her hroa broken in so many ways, it was a miracle she was alive. Perhaps she should have sailed, it may have been more merciful to those she loved than watching the painful process of her healing, indeed it was the plan.Until the day she went to sail.Staring out onto the sea, she took the time to think. She did not want to leave in truth. For with foresight, she had seen early in her life that she would never see her daughter again if she did, and was unsure as to the fate of her sons. There would be so many moments lost, so many years that she would never retrieve again. Elrond would be alone, she knew she would miss him, and grief nearly overwhelmed her. Cirdan found her, staring at the sea and weeping, and through a conversation she came to realize she could not leave. So she stayed, taking some time in in their honeymoon cottage, so she might be relieved of any duties either consciously or unconsciously taken on ( for though she often complained that it was Elrond who worked the hardest and did not take care of himself, she too worked hard without realizing it, and took on so many of others woes that she rested very little ). By the next century she returned to Imladris, and soon after could lay in Elronds arms again, and was freed of the claws of shadow. The shadow grew in the east, but she grew stronger, feeling its presence but unwilling to fall to its oppression. She did not travel again, but she did not need to, focused upon supporting where she could in Imladris as its population dwindled. She was still haunted, and never again was capable of foresight, but she stubbornly remained. She helped raise Estel. She was there for Arwens wedding, and the births of her grandchildren.Against all odds, by the time she sailed across the sea at Elronds side, Celebrian had healed, and had done it all in Middle Earth, surrounded by everyone who loved her. She sailed with a full life, and the proof of strength that overcame such a challenge in the form of a fourth child: Celebmireth.OF NOTE: there is also a variation of this verse which is more AU, more for those situations where she is not married to Elrond. It follows a similar pattern, but she is unmarried when she is captured, and later remains completely in Lothlorien.
VERSE — Valinor. Celebrían did try to stay, to heal in Middle Earth, and did so for several years following her rescue. But it was a half life, and she was being drained by the growing darkness in the world. She would have stayed until her last breath, faded from her body, for though she clung to life it was too much for her to fight. The only reason she at last was convinced to go was because she did not wish for Elrond and the children to watch her die. That, she thought, would have been cruel and there was no guarantee it would not wound Elrond too deeply for the bond yo be severed completely in death. She had seen many spouses die, she did not want him to suffer any more than he had to.So she sailed, half tethered to life, hoping they would grieve but be better without her haunting Imladris. When Celebrían came to Valinor, she was in desperate need of healing. But surrounded by strangers with names she recognized but very few she actually knew, a deep seated homesickness took root. In a place of perfect order, light, and beauty she felt very out of place with the shadows that clung to her heart, the scars she bore, and her weariness of spirit. It made her quiet, and at first she had a tendency to shrink into herself, feeling quietly anxious and grieving terribly. She began living in the house of Finarfin, and became good friends with Finrod who was one of the few that she met that understood her plight. As a prisoner of Sauron in Tol-Gaurhoth he sought to ease her pain, and took her under his wing. In addition he introduced her to Maedhros, who too understood her pain. Maedhros, as foster-father to Elrond, saw her as a daughter, and he advised that she heal in Lórien, away from those she felt uncomfortable around. In Lórien she then abode, still in great grief and near fading, and met Estë. She dwelt there for some time, until Estë observed her loneliness did not leave her but rather was growing greater for the loss of her husband and children. Under her advice, Celebrían was sent to the House of Vairë so that she may see the deeds being told of them and not be as grieved. There she saw Míriel, who weaved the tales of the children of Finwë, ( including herself ) and befriended her. Celebrían then requested that she may allowed to weave the tales of Elrond and her children, until they either joined her in Aman or died. Her request was granted. Thus she sits beside Míriel, now her best friend, for there is much between them which bears similarity, and a kindredness of spirit which Celebrían never found in Arda. Together they weave the tapestries of Vairë until the last of the children of Finwë have sailed to the west.
VERSE — Rings of Power. *please begin with This *Celebrian was born the daughter of Amdír, and his wife, Díneloth, the sister of Celeborn and Galathil. Born in the late first age, she barely survived the sinking of Beleriand, but settled with her family in Lórinand, and became Princess of Lórien.Fitting to those priviledges, she desired a greater education, and studied many years in Lindon with the Loremasters. Then when Eregion was built, she asked her father if she might study there as well, and Amdir allowed it as long as she was under the personal protection of Celebrimbor. This lasted for centuries until the coming of Annatar, where Celebrian began to struggle with the darkness overcoming the city. She was there as it fell, and was rescued after escaping with a few children she'd collected along the way.

[Born ] in Doriath in 493 of the First Age to Prince Galathil, she was named Gilithren. Born in a time of long peace, she was the much younger sister to Nimloth, the later Queen of Doriath. Growing up in the forest, she was close with Nellas, and often found wandering Doriath like her shadow. She was an adventurous soul, who loved best the trees and animals beneath the canopy, and so was not in Menegroth when Thingol of Doriath was killed by the dwarves of Nogrod and Belegost, along with her mother. All the same, Doriath was darkened by the event, and Galathil insisted that she remain in the stronghold from that moment on, becoming protective of the wild Gilithren. Of course, such safety did not last. With Thingols death, Nimloth sister wed King Dior Eluchil, and only a few years passed before a greater massacre occurred in the form of the Sons of Feanor.Mithlas was thirteen when the Noldor descended, and watched in horror as her father, and sister's family were killed. Barely escaping with her life, Gilithren was taken in by her uncle Celeborn, and raised beside his own daughter who was born a mere thirty years later. Thus she followed her uncle's family, becoming like a daughter to him and his wife, Galadriel. It was in this time she met Gil-Galad, High King of the Ñoldor, and only a few decades older. Together they grew up, but did not get along, and more often were found fighting rather than friends. Over time, however, he earned her respect. In the Second Age, she followed Galadriel and Celeborn to Eregion, and learned beneath masters arts of all kinds. Most importantly she learned healing. In 800 SA, in an effort to assist the Ñoldor-Sindarin Alliance, she became engaged to Prince Thranduil of the Greenwood. It was a marriage that would never be, for though she was of the Royal Sindarin line, she and Oropher clashed over the rulership of the High King. Breaking her engagement she returned to Lindon, whereupon she discovered that her feelings were more attune to Gil-Galad himself--- and learned that Gil-Galad returned them.In order to avoid scandal they entered into a secret betrothal, and married, making her the Queen of the Ñoldor.
VERSE — Third Age. After the death of Gil-Galad, Gilithren returned to Lóthlorien in grief with her two children. When Celebrían married, Gilithren took up residence in Imladris, best friend to the Lord and Lady.
VERSE — Captivity.

Born in Neldoreth in 1384 YT to Prince Amardhil, Díhenor was raised as a princess in the safety of the girdle of Melian. As close to paradise as she could get, her greatest love was that of riding, and often she would do so, exploring the lands of Doriath, and a bit of the world to the south. She was a friend to the Ents, the Falathrim of Balar and to the Laiquendi, though never ventured north lest she fall into evil hands.Yet even those born in safety learn the prudence of care, and such days always come to an end. In time, darkness descended and pain and loss followed. In waves Doriath fell, first by dwarves and then by sons of Fëanor, and thus the paradise that Díhenor knew was shattered. But unlike many Amardhil did not take refuge in Sirion, but rather in Balar, and thus spared his children and the refugees of Neldoreth the trauma of the Third Kinslaying. When the War of Wrath struck Beleriand, Amardhil fell, and Amdir took his place as a Prince of the Sindar. With the sinking of Beleriand, Amdir and Díhenor moved east, across the mountains and settled in a forest that reminded them of Neldoreth. There she lived for centuries, not willing to disturb her brothers peace by a desire to explore. But in time she desired to see beyond his borders and set about to do so. It was in this manner that Díhenor found herself in the Greenwood, separated from her guards, and was found by Prince Thranduil. Thus began a quiet courtship between them, away from courts and rumour, though as war loomed Thranduil proposed marriage to Díhenor, and thus they were wed before he went to war, and was the guardian of the Greenwood in his absence. Ten years later he returned, now King of the Sindar, and Díhenor at his side they welcomed the new age with hopes of peace. A few centuries after they welcomed a son, Legolas.
VERSE — DEATH AU
For many years they lived in happiness, though once again such bliss must always end. It was a hunt that had lured both Díhenor and Thranduil out of their stronghold, though as they were lured by their prey out of the forest they were ambushed. To save Legolas, Díhenor sprang between him and a black arrow, and thus became poisoned by it. A few days later she died.

Born in Doriath in 126FA to Prince Galathil, Nimloths birth was a joy and a warning. Her father called her White Flower, so beautiful he found his firstborn daughter. But her mother, forseeing her fate as the future queen of Doriath, named her Sorrowful Maiden. Galathil did not understand this, but his wife well knew that Nimloths fate would not be among the happy. And yet, as she grew, her life could not have been happier. Daughter of Prince Galathil, Nimloth was granted advantage in life, and lived quite joyously. For while many died in northern lands, in wars afar of, Nimloth was little troubled. Then came darker times, the slaying of Thingol by the dwarves, and thus her mother died. Grief at last settling into her life in doses. Yet Nimloth, ever cheerful, endured and thrived, becoming wise and perceptive if not quiet and withdrawn. She had eyes that saw the hearts of men, though she kept most things to herself. She caught the eye of Díor Eluchil, halfelven son of Lúthien, while she danced one eve in midsummer, and though she was immortal with no hope of their union lasting eternity, she loved him all the same. But there was a warning in her heart that would not ebb, and year by year she felt a great anxiety settle over her heart. Twins she bore Díor, then after a daughter, Elwing, and like her mother she saw a future in her childs fate. A broken future, harmed by pain and war, with but a glimmer of hope within. When letters came from Maedhros, Nimloth warned Díor that if he kept the jewel of the Fëanorians he would doom his family, but Díor did not listen. Thus the Fëanorians attacked, slaves to their oath, and Nimloth attempted escape with her children only to be caught by Celegorm. Elwing alone escaped, the Nauglamir hidden beneath her dress, but the twins were dragged from Nimloth to be left in the forest to die, and screaming, Nimloth was taken to the throne room as a token for bartering. There she was wounded, and was forced to watch Díor die at the hands of the Fëanorians, his final breath in her bloodstained lap as he begged she live and died. She took his sword, though she was wounded, she tried to hunt down the servants of Celegorm who had taken her sons into the forest.Even there she may have died, for though she tried to stop the servants of Celegorm from killing her sons, she arrived too late and only succeeded in an empty vengeance that nearly killed her as well but for her Uncle Celeborn. Maddened by grief, and believing all her children dead, Nimloth was tended to by Galadriel and taken far away from Doriath to Lake Nenuial where she eventually recovered. In time she would learn that Elwing had survived, married, had children, and had fled from the sons of Fëanor beyond any shore she could reach.Bereft of children, of her husband, and her life as a whole, Nimloth wandered with her uncle and aunt until after the sinking of Beleriand.
VERSE — SECOND AGE At the dawn of the second age Nimloth is in Lindon.
AU VERSE — __ SURVIVAL OF THE TWINS.__
When the doors of Doriath were broken, and the servants of the Fëanorians broke through, Nimloth waited, knowing this sorrow would be that which her mother had foretold. Yet still she hoped to spare her children, and hid Elwing with a servant and the Nauglamir with instructions that they should escape. Would that she had indeed died beside Díor as tales had told, but in looking for her sons with hopes of sparing them, she found them seized upon by Celegorm and followed his servants as they dragged her boys out into the forest.Wishing to save all her children, she took a weapon and wielded it to save them, and did, protecting them when she heard the voice of Maedhros calling for them in the forest. Thus she fled with expectations of the servant with Elwing that they would meet her at the place arranged. But when neither the servant nor Elwing arrived, she returned to Menegroth in hopes of finding her. What she found instead was Díor, dead beside Celegorm, and in her grief she was lost to madness and searched for Elwing through the halls of Menegroth. There she was found by the Green Elves who led her and her sons from Doriath to their people in Ossiriand. There they hid her and her sons from the Fëanorians and in time she regained her sanity, and heard of the fate of Elwing, who had survived after all. Thus she stayed with the Laiquendi, and when the War of Wrath tore the world asunder, she remained in Lindon under the name Naerwen.

Born in Hithlum in 460 FA, Duilineth's parents hailed from Valinor and had crossed the Helcaraxë with the host of High King Fingolfin. When Duilineth was a child, her mother dreamed of Hithlum burning, and believing it was a warning, moved their small family south where they stayed for many years untouched by war. Thus Duilineth escaped the horrors of the sack of Hithlum, joined soon by those from Doriath and Gondolin in what became the Havens of Sirion. But her parents were wary, not liking the presence of a Silmaril so close and thus moved premptively to the Isle of Balar. When Sirion fell, they only heard stories, of Elwing who narrowly escaped the sons of Fëanor, but they had been untouched. War was always too far to truly touch her as she grew, and so her young mind flourished, though often was regaled with tales from those who came from across the bay of horrors she had only seen in nightmares. But eventually war came and touched her in the form of taking her father away to fight in the War of Wrath. By the time it ended, Duilineth was 127, her father returned after years of torment as a prisoner of war in Angband, and was broken in so many ways that her mother took a ship when it was offered and set sail with him to Valinor. Duilineth was left on her own, wishing to help the noldor rebuild, and moved to the new settlement of Lindon. As the Second Age dawned, Duilineth took odd jobs in the growing city. Cooking for workers, being a courier, she became engaged by an architect for whom she wrote letters and managed orders. When Lindon was halfway built she was offered an apprenticeship, and took it for a time, involved in a way beyond what she'd hoped for. Thus she stayed until Lindon was built, and in that time she met and befriended Celebrían.Through Celebrían, Duilineth was introduced to the Lady Galadriel who engaged the architect she worked for in the building of Ost-in-Edhil. It was in Eregion she completed her apprenticeship, and became an architect in her own right, working side by side with Lord Celebrimbor to build the city. When it was finished, Eregion became her home, and she spent her time in its expanse.Years passed, and Duilineth lived happily in the peace of Eregion. And then Annatar came.Though uninvolved with the maiar personally, Duilineth could feel his influence fall over Eregion like a shroud of shadow. Like her parents before her, her thought was to run, to get away from possible danger before something hit Eregion. But it was her city and so she stayed, foolishly so, though perhaps it was meant to be as she saved Celebrían from its fall. But as it fell, her heart broke, the first touch of war and loss finally hitting her hard. Saved by an army led by Elrond, she found refuge in what would become the Hidden Valley. But the architect within her soul was devastated, and though she tried to revive it by assisting in the building of Imladris, she found the joy she once had for architecture was lost. Celebrían, seeing her floundering, offered her a place at her side that promised comfort and peace. Duilineth accepted, and thus became a lady in waiting that followed Celebrían to Lórien, and later back to Imladris. There she stayed, and remains, and her joy has returned though it is found in doing little things here and there that hint at her old accomplishments. A cottage in the forest, a bridge spanning a river, a small terrace within which Celebrían can often be found, a little house for a new family. It is a quiet life but she would not trade it for all the world.
